What to Expect
We're excited you're considering visiting Grace Harbor Church! Here's what a typical Sunday looks like:
Our Worship Service:
We sing both traditional hymns and contemporary songs; theology drives our music choices.
We pray together, read Scripture, and greet one another.
We worship through giving and hear God's Word taught verse by verse by one of our elders.
We conclude with our weekly celebration of the Lord's Supper
Children:
We have children’s classes for kids up through age 4 at Grace Harbor. These classes are optional, and you may certainly keep children with you at any age. You may check your child in prior to our Sunday service, then take them with you to the service. They will be dismissed to class following the sermon Scripture reading. Children aged 5-8 attend a pre-service catechism class called “Foundations”. Foundations is from 9:30-10:00
Family Worship:
Children age 5 and up attend worship with their families. We believe this is both biblical and beautiful, though we know it might be different from what you've experienced elsewhere. We want to encourage parents to stay engaged with the children, gently helping even the youngest ones learn to participate in worship.
We're all learning together how to point our families toward Christ. We want our children to have a treasury of memories of worshiping alongside their family and the entire body of Christ. The result is a worship experience where you'll hear babies, teenagers, and grandparents all praising God side by side.
